Rita Ellen Frank Wheeler

Bristol, VA – Rita Ellen Frank Wheeler, age 75, passed on Friday, June 23, 2017, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. Rita was born and raised in Hardin County, KY to the late Bernard and Louise Prewitt Frank. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Raymond Wheeler; brothers, William and George Frank; and sisters, Mary Jo Haynes and Betty Fondrie.
She is survived by her son, Robert Wheeler, Jr. and wife Linda of Kingsport, TN; three daughters, Bernice Wheeler of Abingdon, VA, Becky McCracken and husband Kevin of Bristol, VA, and Brandee Brewer and husband Sam of Orange Park, FL; sisters, Nancy Frazier of Phoenix, AZ, Margaret Frank of Palmyra, VA, Sue Geimer and husband Don of Marshfield, MO, and Joyce DeNoon and husband James of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren, Robert Shane Wheeler, Casrel McCracken, Elizabeth McCracken, and Michael Wheeler; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and special friends, Jack and Mary Brewer.
At Mrs. Wheeler’s request, a private graveside service will be held in Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.
