Name: Vivian Grace Belcher Date: January 30th, 2010 Obituary: Vivian Grace Belcher, 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Her husband, 'Gene' Belcher was at her side until the very end. Vivian retired from Bristol Compressor's after 20+ years. She loved the outdoors, was happiest on a river bank fishing, and was loved by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pauline Thomas Grace, her son, Jackie Easterly; stepson, Edward Belcher and brother, Johnny Grace. She is survived by her husband, Wallace 'Gene' Belcher; sister, MaeBelle Smith; four children, Tony Easterly of Bristol, TN and his wife Linda, Melissa Easterly Haskins, Culman, AL and her husband Jeff, Sherry Easterly Cook, Damascus, VA and Karen Easterly Johnson, Damascus, VA and her husband Kevin; two step children, Becky Doss, Bristol, VA and her husband Joe and Kim Woodby, Bristol, VA and her husband Payne; grandchildren: Adam Hamilton, Alicia Cook Wycoff, Derrell Cook, Ryan Haskins and Austin Johnson; step grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Chris McCarter, Brooke Ford, Justin and Gabriel Woodby and Kage and Kye Belcher and one great grandchild and namesake, Vivian Wycoff The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Pam, Mary and Christy of Hospice & Palliative Care of Virginia and to daughter in law, Michelle Belcher. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Lacy Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday. The committal service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, VA with Pastor Stanley Dye officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Hamilton, Derrell Cook, Ryan Haskins, Austin Johnson, Jeff Haskins and Kevin Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Kage and Kye Belcher.
