He had lived most of his life in Bristol, VA and was preceded in death by his parents, James and Kathleen Moore. He had been employed by Specialized Transportation Services. Survivors include his daughter, April Moore Lee, Bristol, VA, a brother and his wife, Marvin and Jean Skeens, Lynchburg, VA, a granddaughter, Danika Michale Lee. Freddie was a true friend who loved and cared for many people. Freddie was loved by many friends. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Noon in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA with Reverend John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3. 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
