Dennis is survived by his special friend, Dottie King, his father, Stuart Joseph Stowers; his mother, Claudine Roberts; his sisters, Diane and Debbie; a half sister, Teresa Smith; step sister, Ruth Ann and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 7, 2010 at King’s Way Baptist Church, 1999 Long Crescent Road, off exit 5 in Bristol. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212.
