Name: Florine Fields McCracken Date: June 30th, 2010 Obituary: Mrs. Florine Fields McCracken, 86, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in Grace Health Care, Abingdon, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bertha Caudill Fields, her husband, H. W. McCracken and a brother,Woodrow Fields, Sr. She had been employed with Harwood Manufacturing and the Abingdon Day Care. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley McCracken and Linda Lawson, a grandson, Brian Lawson, a great-grandson, Brian Lawson, II and a great-granddaughter, Abigail Lawson all of Abingdon, VA, a special friend, Lisa McCoy. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Knollkreg Memorial Park with Reverend Leonard Tenney officiating. Interment will follow. Those attending are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m. Saturday. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Home.
