Theora was born on October 15, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois and spent most of her life in the midwest. She has lived at Serenity Adult Care in Meadowview, Virginia for the past 5 years. Theora is survived by her daughters, Danielle of Las Vegas, Nevada and Theresa and Shannon of Chicago, Illinois, as well as her many friends here. The family will receive friends for a brief visitation on Friday, July 16, 2010 from 3-3:30pm at Farris Funeral Service, 427 E. Main St. Abingdon and will then proceed to Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Dickie Wilson conducting the graveside service.
