She was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Vivian Louise Musick. Roxie was the last of her generation of the seven children of Tyler and Martha Thomas. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James C. Hughes; son Rick Hughes and wife Debbie of Bristol; beloved grandchildren Alan Musick and Eric Musick of Johnson City, TN, and Lauren Hughes of Allen, TX; sweet great-grandchildren Eleeza and Nikki Musick; many loving nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver Vickie Salyer. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 25, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon. The committal service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery Chapel in Bristol, TN.
