Albert K. Henderson, 81, passed on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at his home. Albert was a graduate of Glade Spring High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He lived most of his adult life in Kingsport, Tenn., where he retired from Holston Defense. Mr. Henderson was very active with the Boy Scouts and Order of the Arrow, enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, King Bolden Henderson and Nora Adeline Brannon Henderson, and his wife, Lynnda Iris Clarke Henderson. He is survived by his children, Lezlie Snodgrass and Alan Henderson, both of Kingsport, Tenn.; sister, Joan Christine Lewis of Glade Spring, Va.; nephew, William Harold Lewis, II and wife Carol of Berlin, Md.; niece, Anna Skrinski of Glade Spring, Va.; and great-nephews, William Jackson Lewis, John Clay Lewis, and Jeremy Thomas Skrinski.
