Alfred Bruce Williamson

Norton, VA – Alfred Bruce Williamson, age 75, passed on Thursday, October 25, 2018, in Johnston Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Williamson lived most of his life in Eastern Virginia before moving to Southwest Virginia 10 years ago.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Vietnam Conflict where he received the Purple Heart for combat injuries.   Mr. Williamson is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Marion Williamson and Jane Howell Williamson; wife, Ella Joyce Davis; and brother, Keith Williamson. He is survived by his son, Dennis Williamson of Norton, VA; sisters, Anna Grace Cox of Portsmouth, VA and Judy Buffum of Miami, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held in Mt.
