Mrs. Alma Jean Stables Hess, age 75, passed away January 17, 2018 at Grace Health Care in Abingdon, Va. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Roy Hess and her parents; William Stables and Georgia Hurt Stables.
She is survived by her sister, Lavania Hess and her brother, Jack Stables; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Glade Baptist Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:20 p.m.
