Angus Joseph Pochyla, 32, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2011.
Angus was a loving husband, father, son and special friend to so many. He loved his job at Carter Machinery and everyone he was in contact with. He was a member of Green Spring Presbyterian Church. He graduated from Abingdon High School in 1997 and from UVA-Wise in 2001.
Angus is survived by his loving wife, Cassie J. Pochyla; two perfect sons, Neal and Davis Pochyla; parents, Dr. Frank Geisenhaver and Lee Ann Geisenhaver; his father, Frank Pochyla; a sister, Margaret Pochyla; father and mother-in-law, Randy and Carole Carmack; grandparents, Inez Pochyla, Bernard and Charlene Neese, and Barbra Carmack; and brother in law, Nolan Carmack.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Green Spring Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jon Martin officiating. Burial will be held privately in Green Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be all his friends from school and the staff at Carter Machinery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Green Spring Presbyterian Church, 22007 Green Springs Church Road, Abingdon, Virginia 24211.
