Annabelle Allen Galeotti

Annabelle Allen Galeotti was born to John G. and Rosa B. (Grubb) Allen in Miami, Oklahoma on November 18, 1919 and departed this life in Abingdon, Virginia on June 17, 2012 at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 29 days.
Annabelle grew up in Miami, OK and graduated from Miami High School in 1938 and received her associate's degree in business. She married Charles Galeotti in Miami, OK on May 28, 1939, he passed away January 17, 2000. They lived in Stillwater, OK and Southwest Oklahoma while he worked for the OSU development office. They made their home in Granite in 1958. She worked as a Legal Secretary in Altus until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Granite and traveled with campers on a mission.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Robina Melton and 5 older siblings.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Gary Galeotti and Sharon of Wake Forest, North Carolina; 3 grandchildren, Allen Melton and wife Macie of Keller, TX, John Galeotti and Amanda of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Nathan Galeotti of Wake Forest, NC; 5 great grandchildren, Caleb Melton, Alathea Melton, David Galeotti, Benjamin Galeotti and Annabella Galeotti and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Granite, OK with burial to follow in Hobart Rose Cemetery in Hobart, OK. Visiatation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2012 at People's Cooperative Funeral in Lone Wolf, OK.
