Archie Lee Clark, 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Archie was born in Lebanon, Va. and had lived in Meadowview for many years. While able to work, he was an electrician. He especially loved watching his animals from the peace of his front porch.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents, Arch Lee and Bertha Harrison Clark; and siblings Bobby Clark, Beulah Banks and Betty Hileman. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Essie Marie Clark; step-children Mike Taylor and wife Jill, Glen Taylor and wife Becky, and Darrell Taylor; six step-grandchildren and seven step -great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Archie Lee Clark will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Dr. Don Paxton officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
