Meadowview, VA Barbara Elaine Webb, age 52, passed on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Holston Valley Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Barbara was a 1981 Graduate of Patrick Henry High School and was of the Baptist Faith. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Virginia Intermont College and earned a Masters Degree in Business Management from East Tennessee State University. Barbara was the store manager at Walgreens in Marion, VA and loved cats. She is preceded in death by her parents, Haley Thomas Webb, Sr. and Bessie Gardenia Watkins Webb; brothers, George Timothy Watkins and James Mark Webb; dog, Cuddles; and cats, Alexis and Blue Eyes.
She is survived by her son, Jackie Wayne J.J. Madison, II of Johnson City, TN; fiance, Clint Edwards of Meadowview, VA; one sister, Delores Fullen of Kingsport, TN; four brothers, Fred Watkins and wife Ava of Washington D.C., Richard Watkins of Bristol, TN, Tony Webb and wife Miriam of Bristol, TN, and Stanley Webb of Johnson City, TN; aunt, Erie Webb of North Carolina; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of relatives in Franklin County, VA; special friends, Selena Foster and Davone Johnson; and her cat, Green Eyes.
Visitation with the family will be held 12-2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Willie Austin officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowview Cemetery with Richard Watkins, Jr., David Bradley, Lewis Ramsey, James Thomas Springs, Jonathan Fullen, Donald Fullen, Thomas Logan, and Trey Webb serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Warren Lindsey, George Fullen, Enus Fullen, Bill Mink, Danny Ray Gregory, Billy Fullen, Gregory McCullen, Jeff Mabe, James Fullen, Sr., Jeff Fullen, James Fullen, Jr., and Marion Smith, Jr.
