Betty Carol Litton Little entered heaven on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at her home.

She was born May 14, 1934 in Abingdon , VA to the late William Rufus Litton and Lillian Elizabeth Jackson Litton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Little, who made sure she never knew what worry was.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Little of Gray, TN and her daughter Jennifer Van Tassell and husband David of Bristol, TN; one sister, Shirley Tucker of Bristol, TN; one brother, Roger Litton, Fayetteville, NC; three grandsons, Andrew, Joshua and Matthew Little of Gray, TN; nephew, Mike Tucker and wife, Michelle; nieces Pam Cox and husband, Chris, Tammy Clark and husband, Donnie, Stephanie Bryant and husband Donnie, and Leigh Ann Litton.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Wellmont Hospice, Mike and Margaret you are God sent. Shirley, Ruby and Lucille, thank you.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Friday, January 13, 2012, at Farris Funeral Service.

The funeral service will be held at 3pm, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiating. The burial will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens . Pallbearers will be David Van Tassell, Mike Tucker, Freddie Bowers, Donnie Clark, Chris Cox, Keith Gallimore, Merle McVey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Herbert Duncan, Randy Duncan, family, friends, and neighbors; Shady Grove United Methodist Church ; Midway Baptist Church ; and Suburban Christian Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steeles Road , Bristol , TN 37620 .
