Glade Spring, Va. - Betty Ray Gentry, age 79, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Valley Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard Lee Steffey and Mary Lucille Rose Steffey; and two husbands, Walter Ray and T.C. Gentry.
She is survived by four children: Patricia Thomas and husband, Paul, of Abingdon, Va.; Susie Fields and husband, Kenneth, of Lebanon, Va.; Maryann Reynolds and husband, Lynn, of Glade Spring, Va.; and Betty Jo Widner and husband, Joe, of Glade Spring, Va.; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, and two more on the way; several nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, Sparky.
A graveside service will be held at Old Glade Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tommy Wilson officiating.
