Beulah Ann McVey Bellamy, age 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 28, 2012. She was a member of the Eagle Soars Ministry Church of God. Mrs. Bellamy was preceded in death by her husband James Scott (Smokey) Bellamy and grandson David Wayne Bellamy.
She is survived by her three sons, Leonard Scott (Jo Anna) Bellamy of Abingdon, VA, Curtis Wayne (Ella Mae) Bellamy of Bristol, TN, and Jerry Douglas Bellamy of Abingdon, VA; two sisters, Helen (Marvin) Casey and Ella Campbell and husband Bob Davenport, both of Abingdon, VA; one brother, J.W. (June) McVey of Abingdon, VA;. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bellamy will be held 2:00p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Leonard Bellamy officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Jason Robinette, Michael Sneed, Michael Stophel, James Daniel Bellamy, James Curtis Bellamy and Bradley Bellamy serving as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be held 12-2p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Eagle Soars Ministry, P.O. Box 2581, Abingdon, VA 24210.
