Beulah Mae Browning, age 84, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Abingdon Health and Rehab Center. She had formerly lived in the Boozey Creek Community in Tennessee and had worked as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Viola Vance Nunley; four brothers, Ralph Nunley, Charles Nunley, Jr., Billy Nunley and Alfred Nunley; and one grandson, Chad Howard Clarke.
She is survived by her son, Alan Jackson Browning of Marietta, GA; two daughters, Sharon Rae Browning-Weiman and husband Richard of Laguna Hills, CA, and Betty Jo Browning of Abingdon; one grandson, Brandon Browning of Bristol, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Beulah Mae Browning will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, in the East Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with the Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from noon until the time of service.
