Beulah Mae Clifton

Beulah Mae Clifton, 81, entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Johnston Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born June 25, 1930 to Frank and Alpha Wilcox Musser. She stood faithfully by her husband throughout his ministry and was a dedicated mother to her children. Her loving smile will be remembered by so many people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rev. Cecil Clifton on August 24, 2010; her sisters, Vivian Shaver and Frances Musser; two infant children and a granddaughter, April Clifton.
Left to cherish her memory are a daughter and son-in-law, Eula and Robert Helton of Abingdon; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Charles and Diane Clifton of Meadowview; five grandchildren, Rev. Bobby Helton, David Helton, Melissa Clifton Dye, Amy Clifton and Jennifer Clifton Jessee and five great grandchildren, Bayleigh Dye, Erin Dye, Olivia Jessee, Adam Helton and Amanda Helton.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Corey Dye and Rev. Bobby Helton officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Wilcox, Ronnie Wilcox, Matt Jessee, David Helton, Kyle Grimsley and Mike Henegar. Honorary pallbearers are members of Barnes Chapel; Spoon Gap Freewill Baptist Church and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Farris Funeral Service.
