Billy Albert Childress, age 69, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018. He was born to the late Raleigh Childress, Sr. and Helen Harless Childress in Smyth County, Va.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Raleigh Childress, Jr.
Billy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah Childress; two daughters, Nikki Bush and husband Jeff, of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Sarah Hind and husband Michael, of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Gloria Hixon and husband Frank, of Rising Fawn, Ga.; and four grandchildren, Morgan Hind, Zachary Bush, Vivian Bush, and Seth Sutton.
The family will receive friends at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service on Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
