Blanche Margaret Perkey Franklin, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Grace Healthcare.
She was born to the late Ellis Perkey and Maude Gilbert Perkey. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Franklin; and son, Robert Franklin.
She is survived by her son, John Franklin and wife Barbara of Abingdon, VA; sister, Carolyn Luttrell of Harlan, KY; and granddaughter, Laura Franklin of Arlington, VA.
A private inurnment will be held at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
