She went home to be with Jesus and to rest in his arms. She fought for a long time.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Junery Bill Lawson and Father Jessie Lee Thomas and her son Perry Lee Hess.
Her survivors are: Daughter and son-in-law Doris and Martin Garcia; Grandchildren: Amberly Brewer, Angel Garcia, Martin Garcia. One Brother: Donnie Thomas. Four Sisters: Betty Eller, Debra Wagstaff and her husband Gary, Kay Thomas, Cordella Vanhoozer and her husband Wayne. Brother-in-law: Eugene Owens .
Bonnie enjoyed her work no matter what type of work she went to do. From milking 1500 head of cows to washing dishes at Cherokee restaurant. She would make up rooms at Hampton Inn or she would be just as content to get on her hands and knees and scrub the crout out of the cracks of the tiles. She would also just do the gopher thing and go fer this and go fer that for who ever needs something.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Rev. Danny Mefford officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Roger and Sonya Eller, 13372 Glenbrook Ave., Meadowview, VA.
