Bonnie M. Terry, age 78, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hobart Roberts and Nannie Roberts; and her husband of 41 years, Kenneth Newton "Newt" Terry.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Terry Comer and husband Mark of the home; two brothers, Leighton Roberts and wife Carolyn of Kingsport, TN and Luther Roberts of Greenville, TN; sister, Sarah Leonard and husband Billy J. of Greenville, AL; two sister-in-laws, Helen Davidson and Mary Chilton both of Abingdon, VA; granddaughter, Anna Gayle Comer of the home; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24210. A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memory Gardens at 2:00 p.m., Sunday with Reverend Jerry Fritz officiating. Pallbearers will be Anthony Comer, Scott Fink, Reverend Jerry Fritz, Monty Houser, and Darren McBride. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Cole, Billy J. Leonard, and Frank Mink.
