Bonnie Marietta Bott Wilcox

Perry Hall, MD – Bonnie Marietta Bott Wilcox, age 80, passed on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at her home. Bonnie was born and raised in Abingdon, VA and moved with her husband to Maryland in the early 1960’s where they have since resided. She retired after many years of service from the Baltimore County School System. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Bott and Blanche Louise Foran Bott; son, Chuck Wilcox; granddaughter, Melissa Schaum; and sister, Peggy Tolliver.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Wilcox, Sr.; daughters, Darlene Grupp and husband Harry of Essex, MD and Jeanette Schaum and husband Chris of Perry Hall, MD; son, J.R. Wilcox, Jr. of Perry Hall, MD; and four grandchildren, Daniel Grupp, Christopher Schaum, Jr., Brent Grupp, and Samantha Schaum.

Visitation with the family will be held 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m with Rev. Barbara Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
