Carol Sue Gregory

Carol Sue Gregory, age 58, of Bristol, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her home. She was born September 15, 1963, to James L. Gregory and Polly Sue Rhea Gregory in Saltville, Va. She loved crafting, animals, karaoke, and watching John Wayne movies.

In addition to her mother, Carol was also preceded in death by a sister, Joe Anne Davis; and niece, Bobbie Swab.

In addition to her father, she is survived by three brothers: Tom (Sue) Gregory, of Cabot, Ark.; William (Dency) Gregory, of Abingdon, Va.; and Graham (Kathy) Gregory, of Glade Spring, Va.; three sisters, Arlene (Derek) Stevenson, of Abingdon, Va.; Susan (Robert) Thomas of Glade Spring, Va.; and Mary Gregory, of Kingsport, Tenn.; best friend of 35 years Sally Shumate, of Bristol, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Pallbearers will be Junior Gregory, Aaron Heath, Jamie Rhea, Jerry Rhea, Jamie Rust, Derek Stevenson, and Robert Thomas. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel, 19415 Lee Hwy., Abingdon, prior to the service.
