Charles Blaine Rouse, 80, passed on Sunday, March 10, 2019, in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Mr. Rouse was a farmer his entire life and was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maggie Denny Rouse; daughter, Charlie Elaine Rouse; brothers, Oscar and John Rouse; and sisters, Connie Blevins and Lucille Dowell.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marie Annette Asher Rouse; daughters, Tammy (David) Jones of Meadowview, Va., Maggie (Paul) Simons of Chilhowie, Va., and Jessie (Michael) Fleming of Abingdon, Va.; son, Charles (Ginger) Rouse, II of Chilhowie, Va.; sisters, Colene Barnett of Chilhowie, Va. and Geneva (Bob) Buckett of Idaho; grandchildren, Aiden Fleming, Abby Simons, Kyndra Rouse, Lilliana Simons, Raylan Simons, and Anastasia Rouse; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
