Bristol, VA Charles David Stepp, age 77, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. David was a U.S. Army Reserve Veteran and retired from Raleigh’s Department Store in Washington, D.C. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ann Dean Stepp; his parents; three brothers; and one sister. He is survived by special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don and Betty Stewart of Bristol, VA, and Joe B. and Thelma Salyer of Wise, VA; brother-in-law, Jim Dean of Wise, VA; sister-in-law, Sonia Baker of Richmond, VA; special nieces, Gwen Owens of Wise, VA, and Deborah Dickson of Adelphi, MD; special nephews, Jim Owens and wife Carlene of Bristol, TN, and Gabriel Hylton of Bristol, VA; and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held 1-2 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Temple Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum in Castlewood, VA. A cryptside service will follow at 2 p.m. in the mausoleum with Pastor P. Gwen Owens officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
