Charles W. England

Abingdon, VA – Charles W. England, age 86, passed on Saturday, January 25, 2020.  Mr. England was born in New York City, NY and lived many years in Georgia before moving to Abingdon in 2019.  He was a career butcher for numerous grocery stores. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Alice Cook England; wife, Mary England; sons, Charles and Dennis England; and several siblings. Mr. England is survived by his son, Sterling Ellison of Abingdon, VA; daughters, Cheryl Harris of Florida and Michelle England of Bronx, NY; and several siblings and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to express sympathy online may do so by visiting www.farrisfuneralservice.com and signing the online guest register. The family of Charles W.
