Charlie Henry Casey, 72, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Washington County, Va. and worked as a machine operator in construction. Charlie was of the Christian faith. In his spare time, he loved fishing.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents James P. and Margaret Reynolds Casey; brother Sammy Casey; and sisters Nellie Cassidy, Lois Gill, Ella Mae Cox, and Ruthie Price.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Rust Casey; sons Ricky Casey, Charlie Wayne Casey, and Jamie Casey; daughter Rebecca Casey; brothers Rufus Casey and Bill Casey; sisters Irene Dye, Edith Fergusson, Betty Lovell, Ruby Hunnicutt, Brenda Bailey, Carol Jean Felty, and Linda Duncan; grandchildren Aquarius, Richard, Alicia, Whitney, Kayla, Julianna, Samantha, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Weston, Anthony, and Josiah; and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from noon – 1:45 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A procession will leave the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. to Forest Hills Memory Gardens for a graveside service, officiated by Pastor Paul White.
