Christopher James Turley, age 54, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to be reunited with his mother, Elsie Thomas Turley on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.
He is survived by his father, Carl L. Turley; three brothers: Michael W. Turley and wife Donna of Bristol, VA; Tony L. Turley of Richmond, VA; and Timothy N. Turley and wife Selena of Amelia Co., VA; four nephews, Alex, Adam, Aaron, and Andrew Turley and their spouses; niece, Mariah Turley; two grand nephews; and one grand niece.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 13th at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14th at the funeral home with the Reverend Calvin Eaves officiating. A committal service will follow at Mountain View Baptist Cemetery where Keith Harrison, Jody Tingen, Aaron Turley, Adam Turley, Alex Turley, Andrew Turley, Steve Turley, and Wayne Turley will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to In Touch Ministries, P.O. Box 7900, Atlanta, GA 30357.
