Bristol, VA – Christopher Lynn “Cub” Sullins, age 48, passed on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a great father and provider who always put his family first. Cub was owner of Sullins Plumbing for 30 years. He and his family were very involved with the Bristol Little League where Sullins Plumbing has sponsored a team for 35 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Sullins, Sr. and Frances Roeshall Casey Sullins, and his loving wife, Christy Lynn Haworth Sullins. He is survived by two children, Dylan Sullins and wife Faith of Bristol, TN, and Chelsea Sullins of the home; sister, Delores Duff of Kinsport, TN; three brothers, Robert E. Sullins, Jr. and wife Cathy of Bristol, VA, Randy Sullins of Bristol, TN, and Tony Sullins and wife Nancy of Bristol, VA; fiancée, Alyson Bowman of Bristol, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Paul Ketron officiating. Interement will follow in Knollkreg Memorial Park with Adam Sullins, Terry Leonard, Randy Holden, Joseph Sullins, Jarron Mannel, and Todd Lester serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Sullins, Frank Sullins, Ricky Sullins, and Ed Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cub Sullins College Fund for Chelsea Sullins, 421 Mt. Area Drive, Bristol, TN 37620.
