Christy Michelle Lewis, age 37, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She was born to David Lee Lewis, Jr. and Barbara Faye Lewis on December 13, 1975. She was a talented artist who enjoyed sketching.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Chad E. Lewis. In addition to her parents she is survived by her daughter, Lakin Lewis of the home; sister, Angela Jordan of Abingdon, VA; two nieces, Mercedes Lewis and Lexus Jordan; and special friends, James Steffy and Geneva Depaz.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13th at the funeral home with the Reverend Paul Stanley officiating. Interment will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park where cousins will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
