Curtis Edgar Woodward, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born on May 9, 1942, in Saltville, VA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Woodward; his parents, Denton and Irena Goff Woodward; four brothers, Preston, Hugh, Morris and Junior Woodward; two sisters-in-law, Lockie and Doskie Woodward; and a nephew, Frankie Woodward.
He is survived by his brother, Kyle Woodward and wife, Corrina of Longs, South Carolina; a sister-in-law, Hassie Webb of Abingdon and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Woodward will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, VA. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
