David L. Booth, Jr. "My ReRoy", age 52, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
He was born on November 26, 1960 to the late David Leo Booth, Sr. and Amanda Catherine Woodward Booth.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Connie Sue Helton Booth; sister, Sandy Venable and husband Mark of Meadowview, VA; brother, Tim Booth and wife Katrina of Abingdon, VA; paternal grandmother, Estelle "Old Granny" Booth; two nephews, Erik Davenport and wife Missy and Jacob Booth; great niece, Zoe Davenport; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for a graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Mountain View Baptist Cemetery where Bro. Gary Rogers will officiate. Pallbearers will be Larry "Yogi" Arnold, Randy "Bulldog"Kestner, Mike Moore, Mike Tilson, David "Baby Doll" Watson, and Russell Worley. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Helton, Rodney Storie, Robert Weaver, and Roger White.
