Deborah Kay Fields Gobble, 54, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, VA and was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Pauline Fields and a brother-in-law, Bill Felty.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Gobble, a son and his fiancee', Bradley Gobble and Renai Berry all of Abingdon, VA, her brothers, Bob Fields and wife Pat, Mendota, VA, Calvin Fields and wife Shirley, Abingdon, VA, Steve Fields and Don Fields and wife Phyllis all of Abingdon, VA, Perry Fields and wife Donna, Meadowview, VA, her sisters, Teresa Estep and husband David and their son Chase and Barbara Felty all of Abingdon, VA, a special niece, Tobi Fields.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 31, 2010 at 2:00 P. M. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Bob Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bob Fields, Calvin Fields, Steve Fields, Don Fields, Perry Fields and Randy Felty.
A special thank you to Dr. Forrest Swann and Cancer Outreach Associates, the staff at the Johnston Memorial Hospital, the employees of General Engineering and Mark Wilkenson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Home.
