Donna Marie Fields

Emory, VA Donna Marie Fields, age 52, went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2016, at Frances Marion Manor. Donna was a member of Calvary Church of Southwest Virginia in Chilhowie. She loved to knit, color, listening to gospel music, reading her Bible, and her church family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Neal Jessee and Emma Jean Burke Jessee.

She is survived by one sister, Norma Fields of Chilhowie, VA; nephew, Tony Fields of Chilhowie, VA; neice, JoAnne Fields of Saltville, VA; uncle, Jack Burke of Meadowview, VA; aunts, Joyce Bare of Meadowveiw, VA, Faye Burnett of California, Polly Green of Missouri, Rene Hudson of Pennsylvania, and Mona Lisa Burke of North Carolina; several cousins; and special friends, Buford Stoots, Savannah Stoots, Rebecca Stoots, Alex Stoots.

Visitation with the family will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Calvary Church of Southwest Virginia, 870 Schuler Hollow Road, Chilhowie, VA 24319, calvarychurchswva.com. Funeral services will be incorporated with the evening church service at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation with Pastor Matthew Chapman officiating. A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with men of the church serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the committal are asked to convene at the cemetery before 2:00 p.m.
