Doris Anne Davenport, age 52, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at her mother's home. Doris was a lifelong resident of Washington County, VA and made her home in Damascus.
She was predeceased by her father, Douglas Richard Snead, Sr.
Doris is survived by her mother, Beulah Moody Snead; two sons, Donald Wayne Henegar, Jr. of West VA and Michael Shane Henegar of Abingdon, VA; daughter, Christine Henegar and Brian Trivett of Bluff City, TN; three brothers; Douglas Richard Snead, Jr. of Christiansburg, VA, Gene Snead of Saltville, VA, and James Edward Snead of Bland County, VA; two sisters, Teresa Abel of NC, and Linda Jean Sproles of Gray, TN; and grandson, Caleb Dale Trivett. She is also survived by her partner of 23 years, Glenn Haga, of Damascus, VA.
Visitation will be from 12:00-1:30 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Family and friends will travel in procession from the funeral home to Fall Hill Cemetery off North Fork River Road where a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, with Pastor Joseph Dunn officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home help defer the cost of final expenses.
