Dorothea June Forrester Creasy

Meadowview, VA Dorothea June Forrester Creasy, age 72, passed away on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at the home of her daughter. She was a long time resident of Washington County, Va. and attended Little Rock Baptist Church. Dot worked in garment manufacturing and retired from Golan Manufacturing. She will be remembered for her love of flowers and gardening. Dot loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She especially loved her grandson Brandon and great granddaughters Riley and Taylor who were the apples of her eye. Dot was predeceased by her husband Bill Creasy, parents Bill and Mary Forrester, and 2 brothers. She is survived by her daughter Rita Heath and husband Don of Meadowview; grandson Brandon Heath and wife Amber and their children Riley and Taylor of Sugar Grove, Va., sister Connie Blevins of Glade Spring; brothers Jack Forrester of Bristol, Va., Roger Forrester of Wytheville, Va. ,and Steve Forrester of Glade Spring. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews also survive. A graveside funeral service for Dorothea June Forrester Creasy will be held at 2:00 PM Friday March 4, 2016 in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery; Glade Spring, Va., with Tracy Puckett officiating. Friends wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at least 15 minutes prior to the service. The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to Home Nursing Company, Ellen, Marsha, and Maw Heath for the love and care shown to Dot during her illness.
