Abingdon, VA – Ellis William Baldwin, age 85, passed on Saturday, March 28, 2021, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. Ellis was born in Grundy, VA to the late John and Victoria Baldwin. He owned and operated coal mines for many years and was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Ellis was preceded in death by his wife, Allene McClanahan Baldwin, and daughter, Kathy Belcher. He is survived by several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
A cryptside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, in the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Minister Ron Musick officiating.
