Frances Louise (Ludie) Frye Haga, age 88, passed away on Monday March 6, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Louise was a native of Saltville, VA, lived for many years in Daleville, VA, and more recently resided in Bristol, VA. She was a long time active member of the Daleville Church of the Brethren. Louise loved her role as homemaker; loving and helping others laugh through her jokes. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. However, she is best known for her wonderful desserts.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Reece Haga and her parents John F. and Nancy Elizabeth Hogston Frye. She is survived by her daughter Kim Moore and husband Eric of Bristol, VA; brother Frank Frye of Saltville, VA, sisters Patsy Vance and husband Jim and Elizabeth Bays both of Saltville, VA; grandchildren Shelby and Evan Moore; several nieces and nephews.
A cryptside service for Frances Louise Frye Haga will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday March 9, 2017 in the Mount Rose Mausoleum with Kenneth Gilbert officiating. Those wanting to attend the service are asked to meet at the mausoleum at least 15 minutes prior to the service.
