George Roger Storie, 59, of Saltville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009.
He was born September 3, 1949 in Marion, VA and was a son of the late Brice Walter and Jesse Ruth Arnette Storie. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors are his daughter, Heather Nicole Storie of Abingdon; his son, Sgt. Travis Storie of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Nan Shephard of Greeneville, MS, Rachel Caldwell of Greeneville, SC, and Elizabeth Jolly of Glade Spring, VA; brothers, Paul Storie of Fredericksburg, VA, Edgar Storie and Walter Storie both of Marion, VA; grandchildren, Colby Kestner, M.J. Kestner, and Meghan Storie.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 13, 2009 in Mountain Home National Cemetery in Mountain Home, TN. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery. No visitation will be held.
