Geraldine Julie Reynolds, 66, went to be with the Lord, with whom she loved with all her heart on March 19, 2010.
She was born September 12, 1943 and lived all of life in Washington County, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ethel Tignor, her husband, Frank Reynolds, Abingdon, VA, two brothers, Cecil Tignor, High Point, NC, Billy Joe Tignor, Abingdon, VA, two infant sisters, Abingdon, VA and very special friend, Becky Nunley.
She attended the Antioch House of Prayer and Revival Center.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Lee Reynolds and wife Monica, Glade Spring, VA, Billy Joe Reynolds and wife Fredia, Abingdon, VA, and Daniel Wayne Reynolds, Abingdon, VA, two grandsons, B. J. Reynolds and wife Calley, Abingdon, VA, Zachary Reynolds, Abingdon, VA, a special granddaughter, Pam Reynolds, Abingdon, VA, other grandchildren, Ryan Workman, Kendra Blankenship and Jessica McHale, one great grandson, Jacob Aaron Reynolds, two brothers, Johnnie Tignor, Wise, VA, and David Tignor and wife, Linda, Meadowview, VA, one sister, Beatrice Reynolds and husband Lester, Abingdon, VA. Several nieces, nieces, cousins, one uncle an two aunts.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday, March 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA with Rev. Leo Rhymer, Rev. Jason Nunley and Rev David Denton officiating. Interment will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery, Hidden Valley Rd. Abingdon, VA.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 9: 00 p.m. the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Nunley, Ben Harlow, R. C. Hayter, Dave Powers, Dayton Harmon, Rev. Shean Hobbs. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Lyons Smith, Rev. Clifton Duncan and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 9: 00 p.m. the funeral home.
