Glenda Joyce Hubbard, 64, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Valley Health Care in Chilhowie, VA.
She was born February 20, 1947 in Russell Co., VA and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Clarice Phipps; sister, Ava Irene Holmes; brother, "June Bug" Phipps; 19 year old daughter, Kimberly Hubbard and a 3 month old daughter, Vicki Hubbard.
Survivors are her loving husband, Bruce Hubbard; her son, Troy Hubbard and wife, Pamela; grandchildren, Kimberly and Wayne; sisters, Eunice McCoy, Loretta Phipps and Ann Phipps and brother, Rodney Phipps.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon with Rev. Paul Stanley officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 12:50 P.M. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
