Helen Marie Church, 63, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born in Coalwood, West Virginia, was a former resident of Yukon, West Virginia and had resided in this area for the past twenty years. She was a member of the House of Prayer Worship Center.
She was employed at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center and was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mildred Goodman, two sons, Barry Wayne Church and Robert Marshall Church and a sister, Carolyn Vannoy.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Todd Muncy, Bristol, TN, Missey and Travis Mains, Gray, TN, two brothers, Kenny Goodman, Winchester, VA, Jimmy Goodman, Chilhowie, VA, a sister, Ella Mae Jenkins, Bristol, TN and four grandchildren, Ethan and Ryan Muncy, Sydney Mains and Scottie Warner.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 5, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. in the House of Prayer Worship Center, 1537 Maryland Avenue, Bristol, TN with Pastor Jim Phillips officiating.
The family will receive friends from Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA. Those wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to assemble at the Farris Funeral Home by 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Steven Smith, Pete Vannoy, Travis Mains, Todd Muncy, Alvin Mains and Scottie Warner. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Smith, Bob Vannoy and Curtis Vannoy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the House of Prayer Worship Center, 1537 Maryland Avenue, Bristol, TN.
