Hugh Campbell, 83, passed way on Wednesday, October 21, 2009.
He was a life long resident of Washington County, VA and attended Greendale Chapel and Carvosso United Methodist Church. He served during World War II in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his loving son, James Michael (Mike) Campbell of Abingdon; two brothers, Jim Campbell and Summers Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 4:30 pm at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Highlands Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Margaret B. Mitchell Spay and Neuter Clinic, 16222 Lee Highway, Bristol, VA 24201.
