Ian St. John Patterson, age 34, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Bristol Regional Hospital. Ian was a life long resident of Washington County Virginia graduated from Abingdon High School. He was a professional painter. Ian, too, was an artist and musician.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Abell.
Ian is survived by his mother Alyson Abell and companion David Vanhoose of Abingdon; daughter Lila Lee Patterson; brother and best friend Zeke Lee Kite and companion Alyssa Toler and their children Zaine and Lorelai Kite; aunt Melissa Watson; cousins Blair and Emily Watson.
A celebration of Ian’s life will be held at a later date.
