Imajean S. Heisler, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her home. She was a real estate agent for Century 21 in Abingdon for nearly 20 years. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking.
She was born to the late Ambrose Smith and Ida Hamm Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Eugene Heisler; brother, Verlin Smith; and two sisters, Lorene Deaner and Eller Jenkins.
She is survived by her son, Michael Eugene Heisler of Abingdon, VA; two daughters; Cynthia Ann Heisler and husband William Motchar, and Vicky Heisler all of Charlotte, NC; sister, Irene Hill of Riner, VA; sister-in-law, Betty Smith of Coeburn, VA; brother-in-law, Paul Deaner of Riner, VA; and grandson, Jackson Motchar, age 14, of Charlotte, NC.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday with the Reverend David Jackson officiating. Flowers are welcome.
