Imogene Ruth Webb Davis

Abingdon, VA Imogene Ruth Webb Davis went to be with the Lord on August 1, 2015. She was born on January 5, 1929, and has been a lifelong resident of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. She was preceded in death by her mother Naomi Ruth Davis, her father A.H. Webb, and her loving husband Bert W. Davis. She is survived by her son, Jerry W. Davis and wife Dottie B. Davis; her grandson Matthew Davis and wife Rebekah Davis; her great-grandchildren Callan and Jachin Davis, who were her pride and joy; sister Peggy Stigall; and nephews Jason and Brett Stigall. Services for Mrs. Davis will be held at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Wampler, Tony Davis, and John Showalter. The service will be officiated by Chaplain Erik Wade Hinchey. Special friends include her close neighbors Jimmy and Deb Wampler, Wanda Pugh, and the Tony Davis family. The family wishes to thank all of those who supported Mrs. Davis through her battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers contributions, can be made to the American Cancer Society.
