Imojean Eskridge Wright

Imojean Eskridge Wright, age 71, of Abingdon, Va. and formerly of Deale, Md., passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, at Abingdon Health and Rehab Center. She was born to the late Herbert Eskridge and Della Virginia Reed Eskridge on October 7, 1945. She retired from Cinea Corporation in Linthicum, Md. after 22 years.
In addition to her parents, Imojean was also preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Dewey Wright.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Lewis Johnson; son, Richard Wright, Sr.; three sisters, Peggy Harless, Susan Wright, and Retha Vernon; three grandchildren, Crystal Wright, Diana Wright, and Richard Wright, Jr.; and one great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alvarado Bible Church, 27195 Denton Valley Rd., Abingdon, Va. 24211.
