Irene Venable "Reany" Street, 81, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010 at her home.

She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, VA and was a daughter of the late Albert and Ethel Church Price. She had been employed as a supervisor at Abingdon's Harwood and was a member of Abingdon Bible Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Venable; a son, Eddie Wayne Venable; sisters, Lillian Balding, Tee Price and Fannie Venable, and brothers George and Gordon Price.

Survivors are her husband, Volney "Bob" Street; daughter, Jeannie Brown and husband, Ronnie of Abingdon; brother, Thomas Price and wife, Gracie of Bristol, VA; sister-in-law, Marton Price-Hooker of Orange, CA; grandchildren: B.J. Long and husband, Clinton; Jessica Brown, Becky Stiltner and husband, Brad; Jenny Manuel and husband, Marty; Nickie Asher and husband, Dan; and Sonya Farris and husband, David; Twelve great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Nancy Rogers and husband, Paul of Maryland; step-grandsons, Walter and Jim Taylor of Maryland; four step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon with Dr. Paul Bufford and Rev. David Robins officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA.

Pallbearers will be Marty Manuel, Dan Asher, Brad Stiltner, David Farris II, Clinton Long and Jim Preas. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ronnie Brown, Dr. Bob Brown and Ron Bomers.

The family will receive friends at the Forest Hills Chapel from 12:00 until 12:45 P.M. Wednesday.
